We are a small independent press that was started in 2005 with the aim of bringing quality books out of the woods. Our primary mission is to publish books that make a difference in the lives of the people of the world. We will publish a limited number of high quality books annually.
In selecting the books that we publish, we are guided by these criteria:
Ben Bosah Books will release mostly non-fiction books, although we will pass up publishing compelling works of fiction. If you like our books, please assist us in its promotion by telling everyone about them. Because we strive to keep our prices affordable, we do not have the margins necessary to fund our publicity and marketing budgets like those of the major publishing giants.
A 2 page synopsis of the book; the first 3 chapters of the manuscript; and a biography of the author, including previous publications, if any, awards, publicity information (feature in magazine, newspaper, and press release).
A 1-2 page overview of the book; table of contents; two sample chapters; analysis of the target market (who will buy the book and why); list of competing titles (6-10 books) and state how your book is different/better; and a biography of the author, including previous publications, if any, awards, publicity information (feature in magazine, newspaper, and press release).
